INCLEMENT WEATHER INFORMATION

Kiefer Public Schools will begin implementing routes for our buses to travel during inclement weather. We have developed snow and ice routes in order to transport our students safely to and from school during hazardous road conditions.

When conditions warrant, announcements regarding closing of schools or implementation of snow/ice routes will be made on the 5:30 a.m. newscast on Channels 2, 6, 8, Cable 9 and many of the local radio stations.

During inclement weather, we will not be transporting students to any location west of the elementary school nor will we transport students to any location north of 141^st street.

In addition, if weather conditions warrant early dismissal, ice/snow routes will be in effect and parents of students in the route areas will need to pick up their children at school.
