Mrs. Shaw joined Kiefer in 2005 as a reading interventionist. Since that time she has taught first grade, fourth grade, fifth grade, and seventh grade. She has been an assistant principal for the middle school, and is currently the high school principal, and assistant superintendent. As a self-professed lifelong learner, Mrs. Shaw holds a bachelor’s degree in elementary education as well as a master’s degree in educational administration from Northeastern State University. She is currently working on her doctoral degree in educational administration, curriculum and supervision at the University of Oklahoma.
Mrs. Shaw is an avid champion for education and is committed to ensuring that the school provides a safe, high-quality, engaging, and supportive learning environment for all students. She is proud to be part of a district that constantly strives for increased excellence and the commitment to constant improvement. She contributes the school’s success to the dedication of the faculty and administration, the support of the community, and the partnerships formed with parents. Mrs. Shaw is proud to be a Trojan and believes Kiefer is a fantastic place to raise a family and a great place to go to school.
