-I began my career with Kellyville Public School teaching middle school English Language Arts
-I then met my husband and followed him to Graham Public School where he was the principal. I taught 3rd and 4th grade.
-After having our first son, we moved closer to “home” where my husband became principal of Mounds High School, and I was able to be a stay at home mom but a few years later began teaching kindergarten.
-After ten years, we were ready for a change. My husband was offered a new job in the wonderful community of Chouteau, Oklahoma, as their high school principal.
-We were called to the ministry of teaching in 2005 and spent 10 of the best years of our life working at Church on the Move (Lincoln Christian School) in Tulsa, Oklahoma. When my husband retired, we settled in Kiefer, Oklahoma. While I was waiting & praying to be offered a job at Kiefer Public School, I spent one year at Beggs Public School.
-The 2019-2020 school year begins my 4rd year of teaching at Rongey Middle School. I teach 5th grade English Language Arts. The leadership at this school is top-notch, the students are academically motivated, and the families and community are extremely supportive. My colleagues are some of the highest quality staff I’ve ever worked with. Their dedication to and concern for young adults is incredible.
